WearSox® PRODUCTS - CASING CENTRALIZERS & STABILIZERS |
WearSox® can be applied directly to casing to form stabilizers for drilling with casing or liner in both straight and directional wells.
Such is the versatility of the WearSox® material that a complete Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) can be built up on one or more standard joint(s) of casing. This replaces the more cumbersome and costly combination of machined integral blade stabilizers (IBS) and pup joints.
Above the casing drilling BHA the remainder of the string can be centralized with WearSox® centralizers in lieu of crimped-on devices, which will help lower ECD effects while circulating and cementing.
WearSox® centralizers will also be found beneficial in conventional casing running scenarios, especially where annular tolerances are tight, since there still exists the full flow area between the blades.
In the laboratory and field our WearSox® material has been proven to be considerably more durable than alternative molded devices and our centralizer pricing is extremely competitive. |
